A copper candle scone with repoussé serpent design designed by George Tanner in 1902. Marked to the back “Designed by G.S. tanner and made by Albert Prime, 1902”. This design is a near exact copy of an earlier piece designed by J.D. Mackenzie and made at the Newlyn School around 1895 (Object No.28 Private Collection of Dave Marshall)
